This suite celebrates the unique traditions of the Native Alaskan Eskimos and Indians. Enjoy our display of local artistry and native lifestyle items.
This is our largest unit, which includes a queen bed in the bedroom, and two queen-size Murphy beds (fold down wall beds) in the living room

Our Fishing room can sleep three, with a queen bed, day bed.

The Homestead Cabin

THE A.J. SWANSON CABIN
Old time Alaska at it's finest. This log cabin, set apart from the main B&B, is the coziest place in the valley. Awesome views right on the porch. You might even want to start a fire in the wood stove and "rough" it.
The Homestead Cabin has a queen bed.
*The bathroom facilities are located in the main Bed & Breakfast facility. Just a short walk away.

The Iditarod room is in honor of The Last Great Race. Enjoy many original and authentic Iditarod pieces. The favorite of our guests! This room boasts a very highly prized artifact Norman Vaughn's first finished Iditarod sled!

The State of Alaska is a vast land with many faces. The Pioneer Room celebrates the 203 select families who received passage to Alaska to claim and work 40 acres of farmland near the foot of Pioneer Peak in the Matanuska Valley in the 1935 New Roosevelt Deal.
The Pioneer room sleeps 2 comfortably, with a queen bed, desk & sitting area.
*The bath is a walk down the hall accounting for the reduced rate for those who want to be more like the pioneers!

Cancellation Policy.
Making a reservation at a bed and breakfast is not the same as making a hotel reservation. Due to our small size, cancellations affect us significantly. A last minute cancellation gives us little chance of re-booking a room. For this reason we uphold a strict cancellation policy:

Guests are responsible for payment of all nights reserved regardless of their actual arrival or departure date. No-shows are also responsible for full payment of their entire reservation.

Cancellation of (including changes to) a confirmed reservation must be made 7 or more days prior to your scheduled arrival to receive a refund.
